The L.I.F.E. Programme© is a structured, four-phase approach designed to create individualised pathways that support vulnerable young people to develop skills, confidence, and positive futures.
The programme provides opportunities for young people to engage in purposeful, positive activities, helping to reduce vulnerability and increase protective factors where there may be risks associated with exploitation, violence or abuse.
Delivery is centred around skills- focused mentoring, embedded within a relationship-based, therapeutic-informed approach. This supports young people who may be at risk of becoming NEET, experiencing permanent exclusion, presenting with challenging behaviour, or facing emotional and mental health difficulties. By intervening at a critical time, the programme aims to promote wellbeing, re-engagement, and improved life chances.
Young people’s voices are central to the programme. Their perspectives are actively sought to ensure activities and delivery methods align with their interests, aspirations, and future education or employment goals, supporting motivation and sustained engagement.
An initial assessment is completed with each young person in partnership with homes and partner settings utilising RLE support. This informs a future-focused framework that provides structure and continuity, supporting young people to re-engage.
Through this process, young people are supported to build confidence, agency and their inner champion, enabling them to take an active role in shaping their future.

Helping navigate life’s challenges, find your inner champion and realise true potential.
