Real Life Education (RLE) partners with residential care providers and local authorities to deliver a high-level, integrated model that goes beyond traditional care. RLE offers a fully integrated, holistic model that combines mentoring, therapeutic and clinical support, and education through its structured four-phase L.I.F.E. Programme. Designed to reduce fragmentation and duplication, this one-stop model enables local authorities and residential care providers to deliver more consistent, effective, and joined-up care.
Each phase of the L.I.F.E. Programme - Health & Wellness, Personal Development, Life Skills, and Education/Employment/Training Pathways - is tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of every young person.
Through interest-led engagement and one-to-one or two-to-one interventions, the programme supports meaningful re-engagement with learning, life, and community.
RLE’s in-house clinical service provides robust assessments and ongoing consultation to identify risk, need, and vulnerability, ensuring that all interventions are evidence-based.
Mentors - including current and former professional athletes - are trauma-informed, extensively trained, and committed to delivering safe and aspirational support. Residential staff benefit from reflective supervision, therapeutic consultancy, and access to accredited training, fostering an aligned, trauma-responsive care environment.
Each young person follows a bespoke Real Learning Plan (RLP), integrating project-based learning, social-emotional development, and core life skills. Progress is monitored through digital platforms and validated outcome tools, while educational pathways include Functional Skills, AQA Unit Award Scheme (UAS) units, and ASDAN awards.
RLE equips young people with the confidence, self-worth, and skills needed to reach and sustain positive destinations - and to thrive as active, empowered members of society.
