'Real Life Education is imperative towards the development of our children in which we care for. A child who we currently care for, has not always engaged in education and due to this has suffered many delays in their ability to be able progress in educational settings. Since our young person has been engaging with RLE, their complete concept has changed. Our young person has built strong relationships with their mentors who visit the home through the week and feels supported by them. The RLE mentors incorporate real life experience into their mentoring which in turn, offers a different concept over day to day thinking and ways in which we can adapt ourselves to change. RLE offer not only one to one sessions with our young person but have incorporated activities. Activities that our young person has chosen themselves and not chosen for them. Our young person is progressing each week and has built on skills such as independence in the community, the ability to adapt to change and is able to mirror the behaviors their mentor display’s. Our young person has only been with us for a short period of time and we have seen heaps of progression so far! The entire package that is available is amazing! I hope RLE grow as a company as a whole and take their services worldwide as many other children services would really benefit from having mentors like these guys. I can honestly say they will change lives for the better. So a big thankyou to all of you. Especially our in house mentor currently. The work you do is incredible. I couldn’t praise this service more. I look forward to building and completing these journey’s with our young people with you guys to create positive outcomes for the future.'

'Real Life Education (RLE) has been implemented in the home to support our young person who had previously struggled in education settings.
The young person we work with had not been attending education and was completely disengaged from the idea of it. We made sure that RLE was implemented from the offset of her moving to us and part of her daily routine. Upon meeting the guys and her mentor, it was clear she felt they were someone she could form a good working relationship with and would understand her needs well. A clear and robust plan was scheduled, allowing her to feel a sense of control over her education- a critical aspect to success with young people who have experienced difficulties around education. This plan included activities and sessions that she could enjoy, as well as gaining the skills needed to engage with education in an outside of the box way of thinking. Our young person has thrived in this area and expresses how much she loves this part of her day. We have seen progress in her sleep routine, self- esteem and mental wellbeing.
The team around her have been second to none and provide positive role models for her to mirror. The course has given skills such as resilience, self-discipline, routine, structure and boundaries to the young person who is going from strength to strength. The relationship she has with her mentor is nurturing and respectful as well as fun and understanding- who we now consider a valued member of our in house team.
The package is exceptional and we owe the team providing the package a standing ovation.
