“I have been involved in the planning and development of RLEs clinical provision since September 2023, drawing upon my experience in establishing and delivering clinical services within residential childcare settings. From the outset, the clinical responsibilities for all psychological input at RLE have been directly overseen by myself. This includes the clinical assessment, formulation, and intervention planning for every client receiving psychological input within RLE.
In addition, I also supervise and provide clinical oversight to mentors who deliver day-to-day support to young people within RLE. This supervision ensures that all staff are aligned with trauma-informed and therapeutic practices, ensuring a holistic approach to supporting the emotional and psychological needs of our young people.
My role involves safeguarding the integrity and quality of care at RLE, ensuring that all services are in line with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and are continually developed to meet the evolving needs of our young people.”
