Adam Walne - Founder/Managing Director

Adam Walne former professional rugby league player is the founder of Real Life Education & Raw & Outdoor with over 10 years’ experience working in elite sports environments, playing at the top level in his chosen sport. Throughout his rugby career he worked within the community, schools and local sports clubs. He loved seeing the impact a positive role model can have on young people’s lives and noticed that when education is delivered through sport, young people are more engaged.

Since retiring from professional sport, Adam has gone on to create his own health & fitness business RAW & OUTDOOR which has successfully helped transform 100s of people’s lives to date.

Adam has also founded Real Life Education on a mission to create a collaborative alternative provision that creates a meaningful and relevant education by making connections between the curriculum and real-life situations, inspiring young people to take full control of their mental and physical health, live life to the full, and help achieve life changing outcomes. 

Adams vision is to provide a platform that changes the way young people view education and build an inner champion, so they have the belief needed to achieve out there in the real world. Using an informal and real life approach we can fulfil our duty to support pupils in their journey towards further education, employment and contribute positively within their communities.
